A new color variant of the Kyosho Original 1/18 Austin Healey Sprite is now available!

The Austin-Healey brand introduced its first production vehicle in 1953, and in 1958, the iconic “Sprite” was born—nicknamed the “Frogeye” (or “Bugeye”) for its charming, smiling face. Designed with young drivers in mind, this lightweight sports car was powered by a 42.5hp BMC engine and weighed just 602 kg, offering surprisingly agile performance.

To meet North American safety regulations, the headlights were positioned higher, giving the car its signature look with a cheerful grille and an endearing expression.
