Here's everything you need to know about this modelcar listing.
RARE EDITION! Sun Star 1:18 Mustang Mach I Boss 351 â #3623 â Collector Series Box! Wimbledon White â MINT CAR / NEAR MINT BOX â Classic Ford Muscle with Opening Doors and Hood!
This is a 1:18 scale die-cast 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 by Sun Star, Item #3623, finished in Wimbledon White with a black Ram Air hood. More than just a Mach 1, this model represents the rare, one-year-only Boss 351 performance variant, widely considered the last of the high-compression, true muscle Mustangs. With 330 hp from its Cleveland V8, the real Boss 351 was built to competeâand today, collectors know how special it was.
This version is RARE and stands out because it comes in the red âU.S.A. Collectiblesâ packaging with a factory-labeled spec sticker and labeled display base.
This specific packaging clearly identifies the car as a Boss 351, not just a general Mach 1 trim. That sets it apart from the more common Sun Star releaseâItem #3603, which is packaged in a black box with checkered graphics and labeled only as â1971 Mustang Mach 1.â That version does not mention Boss 351 on the box or base, has no spec sticker, and often lacks the inner display base entirely.
This #3623 release is known among Mustang and die-cast collectors as the premium version, thanks to its specific Boss 351 branding, limited packaging run, and more accurate display presentation. Licensed by Ford, and produced with Sun Starâs attention to detail, this model includes: opening doors and hood, steerable front wheels, a detailed engine, full interior detailing, and a realistic undercarriage.
Condition: Model is MINT and has never been removed from its original base, and the plastic body bands are still intact (See Pics). Box is Near Mint, with only minor shelf wearâmost notably a few light light creases and edge/corner wear and two small tears (See Pics). This also includes the original KB Toys label, which has fallen off (slight glue marks still visible)... See Pics! OVERALL... this is an exceptional piece for display! And... this comes from a smoke-free home and has NO odors of any kind! Please feel free to message me with any questions or for additional pics.
Shipping: Packed very carefully and shipped promptly within one to two business days maximum, after purchase.

About Donnie's Loft:
Many of my current listings are personal possessions that I have owned for many years and am only selling them because I am retirement down-sizing from a large home to a small cottage with my wife. Recently I have also begun to add select items from friends and family, and things I have found specifically to offer on eBay (mostly vintage toys â a category in which I have some expertise from decades of collecting). I pride myself on being meticulous, fair, honest, and an excellent communicator. I will do my best to swiftly respond to any questions, and I will work diligently and fairly to resolve any issue that may arise -- treating you just as I would want to be treated if I was in your shoes. Also... if you like this item, please take a look at the other listings in my store. I'm adding an eclectic range of things every week!
